It's hard to believe miss Nina is already 10 months old. Every month is really flying now and she is growing so fast! According to our home scale, she is 19.5 pounds and seems to have gone through a growth spurt b/c I had to buy her new shoes and pants this month. Nina's personality is getting stronger by the minute. She knows what she wants and doesn't want and has no problems vocalizing her feelings. She's gotten really good at putting her hand up with a "talk to the hand" motion - I have no idea where she learned that from. She waves bye bye, claps her hands and kisses us (although we're working on keeping her kisses "closed mouth" LOL!
Here are a few pics from the last week - here she is ready for the mall.

Yes - that's the bedding department at JCPenney - we were waiting to get portraits done and Nina couldn't keep still so the beds were the perfect place to burn some energy.

We stopped by the Disney Store and she loved Mickey Mouse! Again, we must work on the closed - mouth kisses!

She loves her daddy so much - she walks over to him every morning before he leaves for work. She's not walking yet, only if she's holding on to something or our hands. These days she is on the go and loves to walk around our place chasing Frankie and laughing.

We've been searching for another car so while her daddy takes the test drives, Nina is so happy and excited to "drive" our car. She gets soooo excited at the wheel checking out all the lights and switches. She cries when I pull her away from the steering wheel!

She's down to two naps a day now and sleeps well through the night, no more night nursing for me! She is eating more solid foods (still a combo of baby food and table food) so she is slowly weaning herself. She's a great eater. Her favorites right now are spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken adobo (only made by Lola) and rice, peaches, avocado and brocolli. We also gave her her first taste of sugar and shared an italian ice with her - boy her eyes widened and she kept whining cause we couldn't feed it to her fast enough! boy - I can't imagine when she has her first bite of ice cream! it is going to unleash a whole new eating machine!

Nina sitting in her new Elmo chair thanks to her Lola Exie! She loves it!
