She loves to sit and play with her toys, she's become more confident in her sitting and lunges forward to get things now - she isn't afraid to fall over even though my heart drops every time she does! She's not crawling yet, just moves left and right but she hasn't gotten up on her knees.
She's started to babble more and likes to talk back and forth with people. She also makes these long sighs when she's frustrated or bored. It's been a lot of fun watching her try all different types of food. She's eating twice a day now - cereal and fruit in the morning and a veggie and meat for dinner, sometimes a fruit for dessert. She's tried a lot of new things: corn on the cob, watermelon, avocado, squash, blueberries, chicken (my mom makes this filipino chicken and rice porridge and we blend it) and beef. I know, corn?? she doesn't even have teeth yet! But she loves to gnaw on it (under careful watch of course). She's still not a big fan of fruit unless it's fresh. She'll barely eat it from the jar - diva! Here she is after green beans and prunes:
She is sleeping in her crib at night alone in her room and we are sleeping in our room now! So we're much more rested now. She sleeps from 9pm to 9am and naps 3 times a day. I love walking in when she wakes up and she gives me a huge smile and giggle. She is a great, easy baby. We are very lucky and proud parents. She loves going out and just watching everything going on. We visit Lolo and Lola about twice a week and they babysit so we can go out once on the weekend. They have so much fun with her it's such a great thing to see - we're so lucky to have their help.
She outgrew her infant bathtub and is now taking a bath in our bathtub. She loves to sit and splash the water till her face is soaked! She's always loved taking a bath - it's easy to make her giggle when she's taking a bath.
We are truly enjoying every moment with our little girl. She is just so wonderful and it's amazing to watch her grow and develop everyday. She's so cuddly - I love when I pick her up and she wraps her arms around my neck (and hair!). I cherish every moment b/c I know the days of her being mobile are just around the corner!
